Carl Nassib, the first active NFL player to come out publicly, was born April 12, 1993. Nassib came out via Instagram on June 21, 2021, noting that he would be donating $100,000 to The Trevor Projecta partnership that has continued throughout the years.

According to Fanatics, jerseys and t-shirts with Nassib’s name were the top sellers among all NFL players that day.
