Today marks the opening of the Every Day Should Be Saturday (EDSBS) Charity Bowl. Started 20 years ago by the good folks behind EDSBS (a college football website founded in 2005 by Spencer Hall), the EDSBS Charity Bowl raises money for New American Pathways, a Georgia-based organization helping provide services and support to refugees and immigrants from arrival through to citizenship, including: finding safe housing, enrolling children in school and adults in job training, language classes, legal aid, after-school programs, and so much more.
Folks can donate under the NCAA school they support and the fanbase that raises the most for the Charity Bowl gets bragging rights for the year (full instructions and FAQ can be found HERE). While this was started by college football fans, we encourage our NCAA hockey readers to contribute!
The 2026 EDSBS Charity Bowl will kick off Monday morning, April 20, at 10 a.m. ET, with regular updates to follow on the New American Pathways Bluesky and Instagram. The game officially concludes on Friday evening, April 24th.

See You Next Week!
