LET IT SNOW!

Welcome back to THE DROP PASS, your week in review of everything Offside News Co. Every edition will recap hockey news, from our team-focused columns to podcasts and everything in between.

We’re back with another edition, recapping everything that happened this past week across the hockey sphere. We hope those affected by the snow and the cold are staying safe and warm!

THIS WEEK IN HOCKEY…

Thank you to our lovely staff for these headlines!

PRIDE AND WHAT IT MEANS (AND SHOULD MEAN)

Washington Capitals writer Michelle Zheng wrote an op-ed about the Caps Pride Night and what it means to have this celebration in Washington D.C. at this moment in history.

Photographer and Philadelphia Flyers writer Katelyn Marie wrote about her experience at Flyers Pride Night.

AND THE BEANS GO TO….

On Tuesday, Harvard beat Boston University to take home the women’s Beanpot title! Northeastern won their third place game over Boston College.

It will be the men’s turn starting Feb. 2 at TD Garden. But until then, catch up on what you may have missed with the women’s tournament. Sarah Mahannah writes about how the games went overall, while Kasey Lillejord writes about how it went in Boston University’s eyes.

SOUND BITES

Katrina and Michelle sprinkled in a bit of rage in their podcast episode this week and Arielle and Avery recapped all the hot topic NHL news that’s happened lately. Check out the episodes below!
